You can't really go wrong with a rich, decadent dessert to treat your dinner guests or surprise that certain someone. This recipe only uses 4 simple ingredients and when it comes to using those egg yolks I have the perfect recipe that will be released next week.

Chocolate Mousse
Difficulty :- Intermediate

Total Time :- 30 minutes (2 Hours chilling time)

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • Chocolate ~ 150g
  • Egg Whites ~ 2
  • Sugar ~ 40g
  • Cream ~ 75ml
      Method
        • 1. Start by breaking some rich dark chocolate into a bowl and place over a pot of boiling water to melt the chocolate until smooth and glossy

        • 2. Now pour 2 egg whites into another mixing bowl and begin whisking. Be sure to save the egg yolks because the next recipe I release will use them up.

        • 3. Once your egg whites are light and frothy begin to slowly add your sugar

        • 4. Whisk until the egg white leaves soft peaks

        • 5. Add 2 scoops of your egg white to the chocolate and fold, before pouring all your chocolate mousse into the remaining egg white and continue folding

        • 6. Set aside the chocolate mousse and pour your cream into another bowl and whisk until it soft peaks

        • 7. Fold your cream into the chocolate mousse

        • 8. Place 2 spoonfuls of mousse into your serving dishes and chill for at least 2 hours
