Basil & Garlic Pesto
Difficulty :- Beginner
Total Time :- 5 minutes (Including roasting time)
Makes: 2/3 a standard jam jar
Ingredients
- Basil ~ 110g
- Pine nuts ~ 50g
- Parmesan Cheese ~ 50g (Grated)
- Garlic ~ 2 peeled cloves
- Olive oil ~ 150ml
Method
- 1. Start off by roasting your pine nuts in a dry pan until golden
- 2. Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
- 3. Taste and adjust. I added more salt and pepper
- 4. Store in a container / jar in the fridge for 2 weeks to 1 month
